The teachers here are amazing and really know their stuff. Because this school is a religion school, you can definitely feel the spirit and it's great because it's a constant thing. The teachers here are great at teaching, telling you what you need to know, and tying our religion into everything. It makes the classes very interesting.

Maybe it is different for on campus students but I had a terrible experience as an online student. Now in January after the fall semester I still have not received my fall financial aid. I was super sick and hospitalized during the fall semester so I presented a note to the school- professors were understanding but the school wasn't... I was placed on academic probation (and never notified of it), advisors stood me up 3 times when I made apts to meet with them. So glad I chose to attend a local school instead now and I will never go to school there again.

BYU Idaho has a great atmosphere with very positive students. BYU Idaho students are not allowed to drink so there is more focus on school work. BYU Idaho has many opportunities available for those who seek extracurricular activities.

BYU-I is a great school for those that are looking for a higher education for a price that won't break the bank. The classes are great with classes that are smaller sizes gives you more chances to speak with them one-on-one so you are able to better understand the material. The one problem with the school is that Rexburg isn't a place that as much to do; it's a small town feel with a college thrown into the mix.

I love this University so much! BYU-I provides a quality education that is certainly affordable - especially for LDS students. The overall feeling on campus is also very uplifting and inspiring with lots of places for quiet pondering and study.

You will find professors here that care about you as a person and your personal growth and development. The classes are not to large and are very personable. It's a small town with a country feel to it.

BYU-I is great! I love it-- the students, the professors, the location, the classes-- all of it! The one and only downside for me is the cold.

The small classes make for a better learning experience and more approachable professors. The professors are knowledgeable and highly rated professionals who are willing to take their time with their students to help them with any educational needs. The campus is small yet expanding and most all students are kind and respectful with the general goal of receiving great education and helping their fellow students along the way!
