I haven't started the credit course classes but I attended the summer classes. The professors really know how to teach you. If your professor isn't the best teacher then there is a tutor who will work with you until you understand your work. You will exceed at this college

This is a horrible college, a college that is using technology in their name but lacks the technology for school use. This school is filled with staffs who don’t do their job correctly and just care about their paychecks. Almost everyone in this college are arrogant or bothersome in a way just to get attention from others.

Transferred over to the College recently coming from another cuny. I have to admit my prior experience with my old school was amazing, staff was very helpful. Unfortunately at city tech the staff are not friendly and my experience has been worst than dealing with AT&T pricing. My biggest issue was transferring over seek was not policy based. Gave me a million reasons why he wouldn’t accept my transfer and they were all personal reasons instead of telling me he doesn’t have the budget for it. I have to admit the proffers are amazing and helpful.

The worst college I have ever attended. From the staff that works here to students. I felt so stupid for wasting my time here. The only thing was some of the professors were excellent. The people that work here are the most NASTY ARROGANT IGNORANT people I have ever met. I felt uncomfortable coming to this school. The elevators are terrible you have to wait on a line that can take up to 20 minutes to get to class. Where is our money going? Right. The worst college I have ever attended.

City Tech is really what you make of it. Class offerings range from remedial to extremely challenging, classes are never scheduled during club hours and resources ranging from tutoring to childcare and counseling are available if you want to find them. The college itself is in downtown Brooklyn - 10 minutes from the city and right next to NYU Poly - which gives students access to job opportunities, shows, bars, shopping, food and all sorts of fun events happening daily in NYC.

Some of the professors are excellent educators. Inadequate WiFi access. Bursar office employees including Head of Bursar are rude, insulting, incompetent and unfamiliar with their own software. Most students have experienced this. The Bursar office at NYCCT do not care about their students and do not want to explain why fees are charged. I was charged extra tuition after I paid in full over a year and a half ago because they made a mistake but did not want to be honest about it. Instead, I was yelled at and told it was not their problem. If I wasn't graduating in 3 weeks I would have paid more somewhere else where I am respected as a paying student. CUNY should look into this department, otherwise they will start to get a bad reputation over one school's incompetent and uneducated staff.

It's better than I expected it to be! Facilities are mostly clean, professors aren't bad, and the students don't seem to participate in illegal activity around campus. That's all I need!

City tech is a complicated school, and unfortunately very disorganized. The school is a melting pot of student all with different cultures and backgrounds. If you decide to come here, be ready to take charge of your own education.
