Cal Poly is well known throughout CA as a strong engineering and business school. There is an incredible abundance of cool classes and activities, both on campus and in the town of SLO. Something to note is that many majors are impacted (such as engineering), so getting your necessary classes can be a challenge.

It feels a bit like a community college campus, but the people were nice. Most of the housing is old, but the new apartments are fairly nice. Everything is clean.

Our school has an outdoorsy campus life, a sweet rec center, and many hidden gems within the school. There is a lot for you to do here, especially if you have a car. The beaches beautiful, and the weather here is beautiful too.

Being a student in Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo is a way of life. The hands-on approach is highly emphasized here. A lot of companies love hiring students from here!
