There are many things that make CBU fun, the community life events, the rec center events, housing events, things in riverside area like boba shops and hikes. Take advantage of it all!

there's always a pool schedule available online and there are many free events for on-campus residents. even commuters have a weekly event called commuter's cafã© and they get free coffee. hammocks are pretty popular too. i've even seen students double bunk hammocks.

On campus I really enjoy the Student Recreation Center and the sand volleyball courts. The SRC is like the most amazing gym with a rock wall, classes, equipment, and even a roof top outdoor track. I spend a lot of evenings playing sand volleyball outdoors - remember the SoCal weather is warm almost year round. The CBU Coed Intramural program has year round team sport options for even the non-sports student - how about playing dodgeball, flag football, or volleyball and much more. Off campus - Disneyland is about a 30 minute drive and the most amazing beaches are about a 45 minute drive. from CBU. LA and all it's cultural experiences and great restaurants are close too.

There's a lot of things to do at CBU. The office of community life usually posts all the events they have going on on campus on their Instagram. The last big event we had was where a lot of people on campus went to the midnight premiere for the mocking jay pt 2. We also had twerp at the beginning of the semester and Yule a few weeks ago. There's so much to do on campus.
