Again people like this writer who didn't tie down their rendering and basic animation skills before joining this school would be better served figuring themselves out a community college, going to a liberal arts school and focusing heavily on illustration and design and considering calarts as a masters student. This is the track this writer has taken and they feel much better for it. It's unfair to give this school this rating as the writer is bitter at the course their experience there took but I hope this informs EA aceptees who are unsure of their abilities. You will not be built from the groundup, you will be accepted to just go and make to the best of your abilities.

The Art Program is awesome and sometimes gives you your own private studio! :D Film and Video classes and teachers are really awesome! :) Character Animation students and teachers are very nice and hard working! You'll come out with a job guaranteed! The music department is great!!!!!!!! Experimental Animation is full of posers and abusive people don't waste your time!

It's expensive and the buildings could use some maintenance. However, the programs and professors are incredible, so it's worth the higher price.

Again, this depends on how much you're willing to put into it yourself. Personally, as a filmmaker, I've already made such huge leaps and bounds in terms of both personal growth as a filmmaker and understanding of how to navigate the film industry after graduation, so it's been really valuable.

The independent studies are one of the best thing about our school. It gives you the opportunity to study one on one with a faculty of your choice within your school(be it music, dance, fine art, etc.). I've done my best working while taking an independent study.
