Like I said, the campus is DEAD on the weekends. Sometimes on the weekends there's events but not much. During the week, there's always stuff happening at the dorms so it's never a problem. There are plenty of off campus parties surprisingly, but you need to know the right people to find out about them. All else aside, the city of Pomona is pretty dead as well and is actually pretty ghetto so there's nothing to do around. Downtown Pomona is actually pretty cool to explore and there's concerts at the theater there a lot. A lot of students have Disneyland passes and always go since it's only 20 minutes away. Raging Waters is 5 minutes away and the LA County Fair is 5 minutes away too. Downtown LA is about 25 minutes away and is actually surprisingly easy to get to if you don't have a car as there's a bus direct from downtown Pomona to LA so LA is always an option.

There are nearby boba places and food places where you can go to relax after a midterm or even study. If you have a car, your opportunities are greater and you can go to other nice dining places.

The BRIC is the newest addition to campus. It houses many extracurricular activities that test you physically. There are classes (swimming, rock climbing, etc.) that test your physical fitness and endurance. It's a great place to work out and have fun. For sports fans, there are intramural games. ASI also plans quarterly events like bingo night, masquerades, drag shows, theater productions (by Drama department) and other student-oriented activities.

Cal Poly Pomona isn't really known as a party school but there are many things to do that can be fun. Every first friday of the month the school has an event called first friday, its a night vent where theres music, food and performances. Then there is also bronco fusion which is an event where new students get introduced to the campus life, and older students. There is also food and music and even celebrity performances like the one more recently, Chance the Rapper which may I add was a free concert. CPP get many advantages like discounts to movies, amusements parks, restaurants and fashion stores. And I'm not going to lie there are parties here and there.

There's a short hike up the hill to the CPP Letters. Different clubs paint the letters throughout the year. Visit the Farm Store across the street and the Lyle Center for Regenerative Studies. Go biking around the suites or go work out in the new fitness center.

There's a lot of events on campus happening all the time. On the first day of the month they usually have activities (First Fridays), and the week before finals they do stuff to help with stress (Midnight Madness). There's an arcade which I know i $1 for admission on Wednesdays. They recently opened the BRIC which i a recreation center, there's even a pool! The town surrounding is a little lackluster, but I'm sure there' stuff in Diamond Bar, or you could go to the fairgrounds or Disneyland.

Aside from the numerous clubs the college offers there are many different sororities to choose from as well. If that's not your thing then Disneyland is only 20 minutes away and with an annual pass it makes it a great spot to do your homework or shed away the spare time between classes.
