CPP's staff is unmatched in many ways. Being an architecture major, I've met some of the best in the field and have been taught by professors who have been in the business a long time. Some classes can be frustrating if you have a teacher who doesn't take the time to show up, answer questions, and offer office hours.

the cal poly pomona college of engineering is absolutely amazing if you put yourself out there; i work as a student coordinator and get to here about all of the awesome things that we can do such as 3d printing, wind tunnel labs, metal work and wood work. the high majority of the professors love creating a personal relationship with their students (average class about 30 students (small)), in fact i'm going to lunch with one pretty soon. the rest of school has so much to offer as well with an awesome gym which i regularly use, a very useful library and the bronco student center (bsc) which is a cross between food, studying, and social life.

A good school for all majors, especially engineering, communications, and business. A large and beautiful campus, with many clubs and organizations to get involved in. The 24/7 computer lab is really useful.

This university effectively applies the Learn By Doing motto to help students get a better understanding of the curriculum at hand here. The student community here is very welcoming, especially with the 200+ clubs available on campus. Most of the study rooms and lounges here and open late at night, which really helps students focus on their studying and not rush to complete what they're doing.

It's a really nice school which has nice dining, teaching rooms, and GYM. People should come visit since it's nature friendly and some ducks, fishes, turtles in and around pond. Parking structure is awesome as well.

Cal Poly Pomona is a very diverse campus that focuses the education around the motto, Learn by Doing. This holds true in that class sizes are small compared to other universities and the professors teach hands on with the class. Overall, CPP is a beautiful campus with friendly students and helpful faculty.

Cal Poly Pomona has a lot to offer to its students from on campus events, housing, academic help, athletic involvement, and career help. Because this university is based on the polytechnic standard of teaching, as in learning by doing, there are a lot of programs that students are able to receive hands on experience; such as working with the farm animals and horses in their units, working at the on- campus hotel and restaurant, as well as being able to work with children at the daycare and special motor development center. This campus is a great fit for anyone looking for hands on experience, close to internships in LA, focused on getting a good education, and interested in being involved in many campus programs and clubs.

Cal Poly Pomona's motto is Learn by Doing, and I'll be honest, at first I wasn't too sure what this meant, but starting my second year in the university, I can clearly see how it's greatly incorporated in a lot of the classes. For example, nearly all science classes come paired up with a lab class in which you apply the techniques mentioned in your lecture class. Aside from the curriculum, the staff is pretty great and I've been lucky enough to have really caring teachers for my classes.

My years at CPP have been the best portion of my life. I have had many new and exciting experiences that I otherwise would not have had if I turned down my acceptance. There's so much diversity on campus that it feels like it is its very own microcosm.
