CPP's staff is unmatched in many ways. Being an architecture major, I've met some of the best in the field and have been taught by professors who have been in the business a long time. Some classes can be frustrating if you have a teacher who doesn't take the time to show up, answer questions, and offer office hours.

Cal Poly Pomona's motto is Learn by Doing, and I'll be honest, at first I wasn't too sure what this meant, but starting my second year in the university, I can clearly see how it's greatly incorporated in a lot of the classes. For example, nearly all science classes come paired up with a lab class in which you apply the techniques mentioned in your lecture class. Aside from the curriculum, the staff is pretty great and I've been lucky enough to have really caring teachers for my classes.

My years at CPP have been the best portion of my life. I have had many new and exciting experiences that I otherwise would not have had if I turned down my acceptance. There's so much diversity on campus that it feels like it is its very own microcosm.

CPP is an amazing school, with an awesome soccer team. The campus is beautiful and very peaceful. Thera are many resources that are available to students and almost everyone you meet is very nice/friendly.

Comfortable campus with quiet study areas when you need them. So far, most of my professors have been reasonable. With the 4-Year Pledge I received/will continue to receive Priority Registration as long as I stick with my major and keep my grades up.

Cal Poly is a wonderful, safe campus. The academics, especially engineering, are rigorous but there are numerous resources for help. The campus is lively and safety is it's number one priority.

Large spacious campus, though older so certain buildings definitely need to be remodeled. Very diverse campus so one can hear many different perspective on one issue and the teachers are all caring and willing to work with you in order to see you succeed.
