The main dining place is Sutter. It is buffet style so you just have to swipe once and then get anything you please. They have pizza, pasta, a salad bar, etc. They also serve different kinds of burgers with fries and Chinese food. They also have a bunch of breakfast cereals and a waffle maker which is great. They also have The Marketplace and they have all kinds of food, but you pay with Flex cash not with swipes.
Read MoreChico and its taco stands on every corner! It's a college students' dream come true. Chico has a wide variety of food on and off campus. On campus we have the Bear, also Celestino's NY Pizza. There is just so much to explore in chico, and gastronomy is definitely one of Chico's pillars.
Read MoreThe food is good, but there can be better things served at times. Also the dining times I feel should be extended for people who cant make dinner by seven.
Read MoreThe dining hall, Sutter Hall, has decent food. The dining hall is open until about 7pm daily. Sutter Hall has options such as a salad or sandwich bar, cereals, yogurt, fruit and coffee on a daily basis. They also have different food each night which can range from tacos or pulled pork sandwiches, to chicken Parmesan over pasta.
Read MoreYou can get decent food/snacks at the Market place or at Holt and Butte Station. But sutter dining hall gets old fast and the same with the sutter cafe which is open at specific hours.
Read MoreThe food on campus is pricey and not good. However, you are in walking distance to downtown where there is great food.
Read MoreTo be honest, tired of Mexican food.( SO MUCH AND SO CHEAP) There are ten Taco wagons in town. All with less than a mile between each other. One street has five, each taco truck has authentic food. The food is Cheap, A BURRITO IS 4$. AND THERE ARE BIG BURRITOS. The food is the best off campus. The CAMPUS IS SURROUNDED BY DOWNTOWN. BEST, AND WILL MISS IT WHEN i LEAVE THE TOWN. off campus food is a couple feet from campus. literally. Hot dog stands in the entrance of university.
Read MoreThere are food and drink carts everywhere, with healthy options, and vegetarian and vegan options. The cafeteria has local foods too.
Read MoreSutter Dinning Hall offers a great variety of food and its really easy to find something that you will like there.
Read MoreGreek life is very active on campus. There is always a frat or sorority raising money on campus or tabling. Typical, Greek parties are very "Lit" in Chico. Despite the typical preconceived notion of greek life, there are various affiliates that actually promote self growth and development and not just keg stands.
Read MoreI can't really have an opinion on this as I am not involved with greek life yet
Read MoreTONS of Greeks here.
Read MoreThere are plenty to choose one! More than a dozen probably so don't be afraid to look for one that can fit you and join!
