During my first year of college, I found that there is so much a student can learn - whether it be in-depth knowledge in a particular subject or about the college system itself - moreover, each student is responsible for taking the initiative to learn. At California State University - Fullerton, most of the teachers I've come across only give their students the information they need to pass a class. It is up to the student to take time and ask a question or go to office hours so that he can learn and more fully understand the subject.

I have been attending CSUF for a little over a semester, and think that it has both positives and negatives. I think the campus itself has a nice layout. However, if you dorm on campus, there isn't much to do on the weekends because CSUF is considered a commuter school.

This school has various ethnic groups and even then everyone gets along. It is not rare to see that a Mexican is best friends with a Korean or that an Arabic is friends with an African American. Also, this school has some of the sweetest professors who are willing to help you with all your questions as long as you come to them.

I have been attending calstate fullerton for a semester now and I love it! The campus is quiet and peaceful, full of trees that give the campus a better atmosphere to it and make the environment relaxing to be in. Also downtown is only a couple of miles away from the campus and there is always a type of transportation available to take you there. The professors at calstate fullerton are extremely helpful. Professors here have more time to work with the individual student and make sure they know the material due to the fact that the majority of the classes have no more than 30-50 students in them.
