Definitely bang for the buck. You get what you put in and it is worth it. San Bernardino is not as bad as people make it seem. The neighborhood is a little rough when you leave the school but San Bernardino is what you make of it. If you make the classes your suppose to take as well as taking some fun classes for yourself your not going to waste your money.

Tuition is at 2,180 right now for full-time. Other schools are higher so I consider CSUSB to be a great price. Tuition does always increase yearly though.

It is a Cal State so tuition isn't as high as other California schools, but as a biology student I believe that I have had a more hands on education than I would have had at a University of California campus for example. I have had only one biology class that did not also require a lab class to be taken with it (as well as physics and organic and inorganic chemistry classes). In fact the biology program at CSUSB has as many or more required lab classes than any school in the country (including ivy league schools).
