    Expect a lot of stairs! Don't let that discourage you though, because there are ways around it. Also, everything is Sprinter/driving distance and a lot of fun can be done with some good company here in San Marcos. It's not a party school but there are a ton of good people here and the professors are pretty chill. Another thing, there are a lot more females than males here, that's for sure.

    Keep your grades up, especially when it draws closer to applying for colleges. However, try to not limit yourself to simple academics. Colleges, especially ones such as CSUSM, are interested in other activities that you do as well. Such as sports, community service, or clubs you may be involved in.

    1) Find a way to get priority registration or you will hate life during registration time! 2) Be flexible with your major you may find something else you like more if you are open to the possibilities 3) Apply for jobs through the school because they will work around your classes. 4) Plan for procrastination. 5) Be proactive about your education 6) Try not to blow all your financial aid in one place!
