Am learning a lot
The staff is always very helpful here and the Professors are knowledgeable and attentive. They create a great learning experience that allows the students to excel.
Am enjoying being here
The weather is nice and the campus is beautiful. The ducks and geese add character to the campus. The people are friendly and the whole campus has a home-y feel.
Bang for the buck
The college is very student oriented. They try to help their students not only pay for college, but they help them get the most for their money.
Tips for prospective students
I encourage all prospective students to tour the campus because thats how I fell in love with it.
Great for these types of students
This college is great for students that didn't want a huge campus, but they don't want a small community school either. Any student that loves to get involved in their campus will love this school.

Am learning a lot
All the classes are small so students get a lot of one on one with their professors. Professors are very easy going and approachable they are always willing to work with. Students just need to talk to them. We have tutoring center that is for free for students to use so there's always somewhere to look for help. There is so much to learn not just inside the classrooms. There are a lot of different organizations on campus that a great for networking and lots of leadership programs available for the students. It's a great school.
Am enjoying being here
I love being at Stan State. The campus is small and cute. Its like a little taste of nature. It's a very relaxing place. Sometimes when I want to relax I go for a walk or sit by one of the many lakes and just look at the ducks, geese and all the trees. Not a crazy campus. Great place to focus on school. The people here are great they're pretty welcoming and friendly. The dorms are in gated community so it's very safe. There isn't a lot to do especially on the weekends but if you have friends its fun to just hang out. For me it's been the best decision I've made.
Bang for the buck
Since the school is very small it's as if your paying the price of a public school but the quality of a private school. The school really tries to get the most out of the budget. If you go to most of the events on campus you will totally get your moneys worth.
Tips for prospective students
Come check out the campus see it you like it. Once you've decided to come here make sure to get involved on campus it opens so many doors. If you can I highly advise doing Student Leadership Program during the summer you'll meet so many new people.
Also make sure you go to as many events at school because all the events we put together it's for the students and you're paying for it through ur student fees so get your moneys worth by going.
Great for these types of students
If you really want to just get out and want a new scene or if you want a peaceful small school its perfect.

well, this school is amazing. it makes me feel like i'm home and i really love it here. i couldn't chose more wisely than this.
Tips for prospective students
some tips would be to try hard in school. the main point is to never give up and never stop. keep trying and trying until you reach your goals.
Academic Rigor
my best bet for the campus academic rigor is really good. i mean all the staff are really helpful and most of them know how to help and attend your needs. same goes for the students, there behaviors of learning are those of positive ways and thinking.
Dorm Life
the dorms here are excellent. even though they are really expensive it is more convenient. there are lots of benefits if you live here.
Food and Dining
here we have many options of food places and dining. we have the village cafe witch is personally only for dorm students, which is pretty cool and the food is not that bad. also we have the main dining where i often go. there, the food is great. and we have pop's and mom's as well. over all the food is amazing.
What to do for fun
well many of the students live the bad life. i mean they go out and they party and what not, but i'm actually the opposite of this. i am a calm guy who loves playing soccer. so most of the time you'll see me playing soccer. i play in two teams in school(intramuals). i also play video games.
Campus Safety
the best!!! i feel protected.

Am learning a lot
As a student in the Theatre Arts program, I have learned a lot about my craft. The small size of the school allows for more learning opportunity and a hands of experience with your chosen field.
Am enjoying being here
The campus is beautiful! There a tons of trees. It is very well kept up and they are constantly improving.
Bang for the buck
Less than $5,000 for the year? Yes please! Why pay a school the amount you would pay for your first house when you could easily attend a University for only a little more than a junior college.
Tips for prospective students
Tour this school. Stepping onto campus may make you fall in love with it. Also, talk to advisers and counselors to see if the programs available would suit you. CSU Stanislaus is a very good place for people who have a lot passion for furthering their education. Get to know the professors, they are wonderful!
Great for these types of students
Liberal Arts majors looking to accreditation, pre-nursing program (impacted), Theatre Arts majors (I would know!), commuters, and students who are still trying to figure what it is they want to do with their lives.

I love this school. Small classes and teachers that are friendly and willing to help you in any way they can.
Tips for prospective students
If you are a transfer student I suggest visiting the school and seeing a councellor to make sure you dont repeat any classes or take more than you need. For incoming freshman make sure u look closely at your classes to get done faster. Good luck!
Academic Rigor
Teachers are interested in you understanding and passing courses. Take advantage of tutors you aren't going to understand everything all the time and thats okay.
Food and Dining
Good stuff. Starbucks and delisious food in the dining hall
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus
Stanislaus has a tradition called Worrior day where we show our school spirit with a huge carnival and music performances.
Clubs and Activities
Clubs for anything!!
Campus Safety
If you ever feel unsafe in any way you can have an escort with you.

Great small university, to get the education of a university but benefit from small classes. Reasonably affordable with beautiful campus. This university contains great free resources, like tutoring center which many others do not.
Tips for prospective students
Get involved on campus, it enhances your network and college experience.
Academic Rigor
I am a pre-nursing major, it is very rigorous yet professors are willing to help. Since it is a small campus your professor will eventually learn your name if you participate in class.
Dorm Life
Suite and Apartment style dorms only. I live in the Double-Deluxe Apartment, great because I have my own kitchen and bathroom, plus a study room. Housing holds free events to places like hockey games, SF, beaches, paint-balling etc.
Food and Dining
The Grill is great as well as main dining. They have choices like wings, sandwiches, pasta, Mexican cuisine, Asian cuisine. Village cafe usually sucks.
What to do for fun
On campus I would say the events my sorority holds. Off campus we all know about the parties. Nothing much in Turlock to be honest but me and my friends have fun.
Bang for the buck
I chose this university mainly for its cost, so affordable to attain a bachelors just like at any other university.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus
Stanfest and Warrior Day best days.
Great for these types of students
Like the comfort of small classes with helpful professors.
Clubs and Activities
I'm in both a sorority and another club on campus. It makes it a great experience.
Greek Life
Not too many, but they are great.
Campus Safety
I always feel safe. I can walk around at like 1 am and not worry about a thing.

CSU Stanislaus is a terrific college, the campus is beyond beautiful and everyone is so friendly. The weather is perfect, the food choices/ places are fantastic and if you like eating out restaurants/ fast food places are only 5 minutes away. All of the professors here are amazing, they're really dedicated to helping their students achieve their goals, go Warriors!
Tips for prospective students
First tip is to be out of comfort zone and be outgoing, the more people you know the better your college experience will be. Second, STUDY STUDY STUDY when it comes to any kind of tests and especially finals it will pay off. Third, just have fun and go and watch our athletics, the games are a fun experience.
Academic Rigor
Academics here are amazing. Professors are really helpful and give great feed back towards their students. Every major program here is awesome.
Dorm Life
Dorm life is wonderful, there's quite a few choices that you can make depending on your financial security at home. You can share a room or have your own room. The bathrooms are huge and we get a cleaning service done once every month!
Food and Dining
Food is better than I thought it would be. There's so many variety of choices from mexican to asian to pasta! There's even a little store called Pop's where you can buy little snacks, milk, condiments etc. you know the little things.
What to do for fun
For fun, you can either join a sport, club, or a frat/sorority. I personally love cheer and currently on the cheer squad here, I made so many friends and the experience is so different from high school. So depending on what you're interested in there's a lot of choices/activities that you can do to do just for fun.

CSU Stanislaus is a college that offers its best professors whom are always available to their students. Not only are the professors great, but the college campus has one of the best campus to relax and enjoy. The environment is of great diversity and allows each and every student to strive and prosper.
Tips for prospective students
Be prompt, always ask questions and talk to your professors for feedback, get enough sleep, study and read the subjects before hand.
Academic Rigor
The academic rigor is tense, they are made to make the best of you and have you absorb all information being taught.
Dorm Life
Althought I live 10 mins from the campus, the dorm life is very inviting and warming. It has the atmosphere that gives any new comers a welcoming home like no other.
Food and Dining
Food and dining offers its best, the cooks who provide the food is exquisite. Will leave you with a watery mouth and your stomach grumbling for deliciousness.
What to do for fun
For fun you could join clubs, go to the game room/lounge, attend the sport games as well as joining the IMleague that allows you to make new friends and play sports.

It's an awesome campus. It's pretty big, clean and quite. If you need a quiet place to study there are many on campus.
Tips for prospective students
If you have a way to get around faster, like a bike or a skateboard, i would highly recommend bringing that if you have a problem with walking around. The campus is huge. Before 8 A.M is the best time to find parking, before that good-luck,
Academic Rigor
Great teachers at this campus. They are all there to help you. They all usually have office hours and you can always talk to them.
Dorm Life
Never had a dorm here, but i did visit the dorms. They look like they've been there for a while, but it is a pretty old campus. Aside from the exterior, the dorms look roomy and nice.
Food and Dining
Amazing food. You've got a pretty big selection as well. The MSR building even has a Starbucks. There is a grill and a cafeteria and they both have an excellent variety of foods.
What to do for fun
There are plenty of things to do to kill time. You can spend your breaks in the Student lounge, where there is nice furniture and TV screens all over. You can also go to the library and study.
Bang for the buck
Yes, definitely.
Great for these types of students
Quiet people that just want to learn. Of course there are fraternities and sororities if you're that kind of person.
Clubs and Activities
There are a bunch of clubs and there is always something new going on in the quad.
Greek Life
There are plenty of sororities and fraternities. I never planned on joining one because it's pretty much paying for friends and i'd rather be alone on campus.
Campus Safety
I feel safe, the police drive around in these nice sport scars. Not sure if they are Chevy Camaros or Dodge Chargers. People can even drive you around campus at night time, so you don't have to walk in the dark

CSU Stanislaus is very welcoming with all its helpful staff. The scenery is gorgeous and unforgettable. I would not consider going anywhere else but here!
Tips for prospective students
CSUS is the place to be! The academic advisors are extremely helpful and the programs offered for student achievement are extremely awesome!
Academic Rigor
CSUS is like any other school when it comes to academics. But what I always say, School should be taken serious, and if you just plan to take all kinds of classes and pass without opening your textbook, think twice! Besides the obstacles a student may find in each class, there is always resources to help you overcome those obstacles.
Dorm Life
I have not lived in the dorms but from what my friends who have lived in the dorms say that it is a great experience to live there your first year of college. One meets many different people which make your college experience much more fun!
Food and Dining
The Warrior Grill on campus as well as the Dining Hall serve delicious food. Everything is fresh and you can see the people preparing everything right in front of you!
What to do for fun
Although Turlock is not a very big town, we do have a theatre and a few bars as well as great restaurants to enjoy!
