Capilano University

Established in 1968, Capilano University is a public, 4-year institution located in North Vancouver, British Columbia, with a satellite facility in Sechelt. CapU offers over 100 academic programs throughout its five different areas of study, awarding certificates and degrees up to a post-baccalaureate level. The college’s core curriculum, the Cap Core, features three academic themes including Foundation, Integration, and Professional Practice, with courses spanning the entirety of each program’s timeline. CapU also provides special support for students of First Nations, Inuit or Métis ancestry through its Indigenous Student Team, which features an Elders-in-Residence program, the Kéxwusm-áyakn Student Centre, and several other benefits.
