  • Dorm life is pretty good here. You have a RA on every hall that serves as a guide to help students with any concerns they may have. There are rules…

They have a really nice food court and setup of it. There are certain days where the food is good, but for the majority it's not that good.

Dining plans can be expensive, but Capital offers a wide variety of dining options--including late-night dining options.

aramark has ruined the dining options at capital. food there isn't even edible. i would honestly just get the lowest meal plan possible and try to buy groceries for your dorm and eat there as much as you can. you'll constantly be sick from the unsanitary practices from aramark.

Meal plans are expensive, and there are very few options covered by the plan. My advice would be to get on a smaller plan as soon as possible and supplement with groceries - there's a Kroger just down Main Street from campus.

Students have many options when it comes to food and dining. Inside the main dining room, you've got 5 different stations of food, with different options at each station, not including the salad bar. Students can also eat at the two other dining options, located above and below the main dining room. These provide students a whole other list of options. And don't forget! Students are in the middle of Columbus, surrounded by restaurants and food chains!

The food is either great or horrible depending on the day. They have a lot of options for a private school, but not as many as you'd find at somewhere like OSU where you can use your meal plan at fast food restaurants.

The dining hall here is great! One swipe into the hall gets you as much food as you can eat and there is also a to-go option for people in a hurry. The food isn't always fantastic there, but it usually is pretty good and they try to give you a wide variety of foods as well.

Greek life is a large part of campus life. And although they are so prevalent, students aren't forced or pressured to join them.

there's not a whole lot of options. i was involved in greek life and while it can be rewarding, it can also be isolating and distracting. i would wait until your second semester after you've already established yourself at capital to join any greek orgs.

Greek Life is a pretty big prescense on campus. But it's in no way isolating from non-greek-ers ! If anything the greek life is very inclusive of everyone.

I absolutely LOVE Greek life at Capital! Here we think of it as Greek unity and that although we may all be a part of various organizations we all share a common love for Greek life and respect each other. About 17% of Capital students are involved in Greek life I believe and they have some really awesome campus activities and programming.
