Ever since coming here I have been taught a huge amount. Not just from the faculty, but from the students as well. This college isn't just about learning from the teachers. You learn from your peers and they learn from you. It is an amazing thing to be a part of. All this isn't saying that you don't learn from your classes though. The teachers seem to really care about you and what you do. It's a great feeling when you know that you are getting better at what you came to college to...

I didn't not find this school to be a good fit for me and I am transferring elsewhere in the fall. Athletics here are taken far to serious despite them being D3 and the volleyball coach got to be violent with the team which led me to quit. Ex convicts are hired in for Capital's food services and this causes disruptions and even disrespect. The roommate questionnaire has nothing to do with your personality which led me to room with someone who is messy, stays up late and sleeps all day, and is a smoker. Meanwhile, I am relatively neat, go to bed by 11 and wake up at 7, and have asthma. There is virtually no parking on campus and you will get written up like you won't believe if you violate any of the many restrictions they have. Capital is too do used on their music departments to realize they are nothing doing a sufficient job in other areas and they are driving students out of here. I know of at least 5 people who are transferring in the fall and even more already have. It is February of my spring semester and I still am unable to figure out why I even came here. I do not recommend this school.

Capital University is a perfect place for students looking for a small, caring college. Classes average around 25 students, so much like high school, your professors will get to know you and want the best for you. At Capital there are plenty of ways to get involved all over campus no matter what you are interested in.

Horrible experience. The school looks nice, quite and small, but that is not what will get you here. They are overpriced, run down and a waste of time.

after my first year of attending capital, i knew it wasn't for me. a lot of other friends have transferred as well. that's not to say that it isn't for everyone, but i do believe that the school does not accurately represent the realistic culture of the community to incoming students. i came looking for a quiet, friendly atmosphere and ended up realizing that capital is more of a high school 2.0. very cliquey, very party central, and not a lot of resources. parking, dining, and cliques are among their biggest issues with a lack of health as wellness availability not far behind. there are opportunities here that you won't find at other colleges, but there are also a lot of challenges here that you won't find at other colleges. i made the mistake of attending cap for my first year of college and if i could go back, there's no doubt i would go somewhere else.

With small schools come small resources: little parking, little dining, little health care, little risk management. There is a definite benefit to having small classes, and I felt very close to many of my professors, especially those teaching the classes for my major. However, I don't feel that I was being set up for success at the institution, and I had serious doubts about the future of my program.

Capital University gives students a small community feel in the midst of a huge city, which is full of huge opportunities. It has small class sizes that give students the personal attention needed to succeed academically and personally. Capital gives you an away from home family (#capfam) that makes getting an education a lot more fun.
