There's a main cafiteria and some smaller places where you get snacks and such that take flex dollars. The food is decent, although I eat a lot of salads so I admittedly haven't tried a lot of it, they have special days like taco day or stir fry day etc. those are a nice addition for some variety.

This is a rather disappointing part of the Carlow University living experience. I have a special diet of being gluten free and Vegetarian. I have been able to work with the dining service to an extent, but I feel there are a lot of improvements to be made. Most of the food is poorly cooked, especially vegetables. Often they are undercooked. I know that my friends have found the same thing with the other foods. There are a few meals that they make really well though, A larger issue is the lack of options during the weekends. They only have one of the three sections open and by the spring semester it was typically left overs being served and salad bar. This wouldn't be an issue if there was a selection of vegetables, starches, and protein instead of it just being a lot of starch.

The food at Carlow makes everyone really sick and there are little to no vegetarian options/gluten free options. There's only one dining hall and it is shared with the campus school, so if one needs to eat before noon, you'll have to eat with 100 1st-5th graders as well. There's also Frannie's in the dorm, but all that's there is overpriced fried food. The workers are super cool though, be nice to them.

Although the hours are a little restricted, I think the cafeteria offers a good variety every day. There is a fresh salad bar and they do different meals and sandwiches.

I'm not sure yet but I am considering joining a sorority next year. From what I can tell they do a lot of social service throughout Pittsburgh and are a respected sorority on campus. I believe there are academic ones also.

The GREEK life is growing on campus. Currently there is a community service fraternity and a social sorority and a lot of fraternities for different academic interests.

I know there are service fraternities on campus but I am not involved in this aspect of student life and can not comment further on this subject.

Carlow offers many sororities for its mostly-female population. Evening and weekend students have limited if no opportunities in this area.
