I love Carlow and am very happy with my decision to attend here. It's a smaller school with smaller classes and this is working great for me so far. It's near the University of Pittsburgh, so it's attending a smaller school but able to experience the larger school atmosphere right down the street.

At Carlow University the campus is small and this really allows you to get to know a lot of the people around you. The teachers are more than willing to meet with you and work with you during office hours. I feel welcomed on campus and that it is a home away from home.

Carlow is very small. If you live in the dorms, prepare to have a high school experience all over again, as there aren't any weekend activities and everyone is so close knit that gossip is inevitable (especially considering that the dormitories are mostly girls). Definitely a good place for someone NOT considering living on campus.

I began as a freshman in August, (30 years old, single parent, starting my first real college journey) and I have been unbelievably happy/impressed with Carlow, as a whole. It's big enough to have exceptional, experienced faculty, but small enough that I am more than just a number. Through my experiences so far, I have seen students of ALL ages/backgrounds/situations, and the faculty will go out of their way to help each and every one!!!

Carlow is a great university for nursing and education. It has all of the perks of a 4-year college without the large classes. Also being in the city is a great bonus!
