It's a good college to attend, but there could be some improvement. Such as students having to pay to print things out in the library. Overall, academically it is a good school. Your professors get to know you by your first name, your advisor checks in on you when you are not doing so hot, and the career center really helps with internship opportunities.

Carthage is pricey, but I feel I am getting what I am paying for. I do believe I wasn't fully aware that some of my grants were only for the first year - I was disappointed to find this out and now struggle with more tuition bills than I even anticipated. But, I know I am learning material and getting the education that will help me get into Med school and to graduate in 4 years - that's definitely worth paying a little more for.

You are paying for your academics and there's no doubt about that. If you want a school with more of the stereotypical college life, you should probably look else where!

Carthage is very expensive. It seems you're paying for convenience more than anything with this school: the convenience of a quick, easy, yet expensive meal; the convenience of a cozy room within ten minutes' walking distance of class; the convenience of parking on campus; etc.... Campus offers many services and wonderful experiences, but the price is hefty, so interested students will need to look into scholarships and other forms of financial aid.

Carthage offers many perks to its students. There is a free shuttle service that will take students to the off campus student parking lots, the train station, and a nearby shopping plaza. There are also activities available every week: movie showings every weekend, comedians, hypnotists, contests, game nights, there is always something to do.
