There are plenty of clubs and organizations to join, but don't choose more than a few because you will become overwhelmed with clubs and school work. Every once in a while Centre will sponsor a midnight movie at the local theater so students can watch movies for free after hours. There is also something called "Campus Center After Dark" which hosts some activities on a Saturday night. There are a few activities around Danville, such as the aforementioned movie theater and a roller rink. There are a few hiking trails around Danville, too.

Downtown Reno is only 2 miles from campus, and there is a lot to do. There is the Truckee River, which runs right through downtown, where you can rent rafts or just grab a floater to relax. I love the outdoors, and there are a ton of places to go hiking in Reno. If you love lakes, head southwest up to Lake Tahoe. In the winter, there is skiing, snowshoeing, and sledding. The fall has beautiful hiking, plus spring has road biking. There is so much to do here, and I know you will love it!

Ummmmm. Go to Lexington? There's not much to do. Centre provides free movies once a month and activities on occasion, but Danville doesn't have much to offer. There's a bowling alley.

Go to frat parties, hang out with your friends, join clubs. Danville is a small town but I have never once been bored at Centre because everyone is so involved in sports, clubs, sororities, or other organizations.

If you're into party life, every weekend and even on Wednesday nights, there are parties on nearby 5th street, at hillside, or in fraternities. If you aren't, well, the campus is gorgeous to take walks around. Downtown has historical charm and many quaint little shops and some very nice restaurants (Mermaids is probably my favorite thus far). If none of that sounds fun, the Student Activities Council always hosts events such as game night, nacho night, et cetera, to help students forget about their stress and entertain themselves.

Stay on campus for a weekend! There are frat parties, concerts, plays, volunteer groups and movies to participate in. Danville is a moist town with a liquor store (finally!) and restaurants that serve drinks. If you're in the car, head to Lexington or Louisville with a friend to explore the Bluegrass.

Social life at Centre is very fun - fraternity houses open. Within Danville, there are great restaurants, a bowling alley, and multiple options as far as community service goes.
