What Students Are Saying

Work on your writing. You will be writing a lot, in all of your classes. Test scores mean nothing once you get here, it's all in the application and the quality of your work.
Chelsea from Chicago, IL
come here with an open mind because the campus is broadening their views on various topics of culture and politics and doing so quickly.
Tyhgita from Lynn, MA
Make sure they have a major you want. Course offerings in smaller programs are very limited.
Sarah
Use your pass/fail classes during your junior year, not senior year. Graduate school applications will be in by the end of your junior year, so your senior year GPA won't matter as much. Plus, your junior year will most likely be the hardest one, so a pass/fail class is a great cushion.
Lisa from Sherwood, AR
Visit the campus and stay overnight with a student! Be prepared to be more than just a number--don't be surprised if President John Roush himself stops you to say hi! Study abroad as many times as you can.
