Cerro Coso's Professors are kind and caring people who have the students needs in mind. I have never had a teacher who isn't helpful and most of them will take their own time to help their student succeed. I have learned so much by attending Cerro Coso and because of it, I will be ready to move on and go to University afterwards

The professors make time to be available to help a student for anything concerning the class and are always happy to help they want students to succeed. It's a good campus to attend if you are unsure what you want to do and if you don't feel ready to go straight off to a university

The class sizes at Cerro Coso are small so it easier to get one on one instruction with the professor. There is a wide variety of classes to choose from while at the college. However, some of the classes are only offered every other year making it difficult to get some classes.

Cerro Coso Community college is a great transition school to take care of general education requirements, especially if you aren't quite ready to make the transition from high school to a big university. The number of courses available outside of general education classes are quite limited due to the smaller community and budgets; however, the majority of the classes offered are exceptionally beneficial and informative. Not only are the professors and counselors helpful, Cerro Coso provides many opportunities for free tutoring, skill-building seminars, and other great services meant to directly serve the student.

Cerro Coso is a perfect community college for someone who needs teachers that can provide more one on one sessions. There are teachers that truly try to make the material understandable creating them to be student teachers. Another important factor is that we have teachers who actually work in the field in which they teach providing more intriguing lessons

A wonderful campus, set in Ridgecrest, California. The professors and staff are eager to help students succeed in order to transfer, obtain an A.A. or a vocational degree. As well as free tutoring offered at the college, most of the professors will gladly aid their students without batting an eyelash.
