I love soccer and so I joined the Chapman University Intramural soccer team and we practice 3 - 4 nights out of the week and play other colleges on the weekends. The Team plays both Fall and Spring Semester and I have made so many new friends with these great women athletes. We have traveled all over Southern California in competition with other schools and it has been a fantastic balance of school and fun.

I mean...it's in Orange County so I'm not quite sure what more you could ask for. There's the beach, mountains, desert, Disneyland, etc. all within about an hour drive or less.

It really varies depending on where you live on campus. The freshman dorms are very nice, some of the on campus apartments are fine, but not as nice-they could use some updates. Ammenities are great! Theres a dorm pool, a beach volleyball area, and a basketball court. The cafeteria has great food options; there's something for everyone's diet, no matter if your vegan, gluten free, a vegetarian, have allergies, or don't have any restrictions. The best options for housing would probably be Glass Hall because it's nice and new, but still pretty reasonable. Harris apartments are pretty crummy and so are the North and South Morlan rooms. The freshman dorms (Pralle-Sodaro and Henley) are nice. All of the on campus housing is located on the block across the street from main campus. Cost can vary, it all depends on how many roommates you're willing to have and the dorm/apartment quality itself. Housing process is pretty easy, its an online lottery-like system.

Chapman holds many fun events throughout the year, including movies on the lawn, midnight breakfast, and many more student involvement activities. Outside of school, there is a pretty large social scene. The community around is also very beautiful and full of things to do. The school is close to many things, including Disneyland, the beach, hiking, and much more.

UPB has events going on every week. Check those out. They are usually free and have free food. Go to the beach. Go shopping. Go hiking. It's California. There's always something going on. Disneyland is usually where it's at.

The music department hosts concerts very often. Champan is also very close to Disneyland and the beach, as well as any other place in SoCal you would like to visit.

The university program board is a group of students and advisors who put on student events on campus and they're always busy planning new things. There are usually at least 3 events per week on campus. In addition to on campus events there are also off campus things to do like Disneyland, Angel's Stadium, Old Towne Orange, etc.

Sports, clubs, local city is walking distance from campus. Great food, shopping and living! 20 minutes to the beach, 1.5 hours to ski. What more could you want?

There are so many things that a student can do to have fun, like they can participate in the events that the university and other groups have to offer and there is the study abroad where they can do some studies while they are on a cruise, and participate in a sport, which I would try for soccer, basketball, or others that they offer and much more.
