Bang for the buck
It's a cheap alternative for getting your core classes before transferring to a university. However, not a lot of their courses transfer (at least not to the university I am looking into, so be careful!)

Am learning a lot
This a great school to attend. I love that the classes are small, because every now and then I need to ask a few extra question and I am not afraid to do so.
Am enjoying being here
The whole campus is like one big family. Most everyone is always willing to help with almost everything. Tutoring, proofreading, etc..... you name it.. there's help for it some where.
Bang for the buck
I was shock to see that I was paying 10,000 more for the same degree elsewhere.

I have loved my experience here at Chattahoochee Tech. The classes are between 20 and 30 students, the teachers are personal and don't mind taking the time to help you, and it's a quality education for the price. There are eight campuses with more being added constantly so it's convenient and there is probably one that's not too far away. Tuition is not expensive, and with the Hope Scholarship, if you keep a B average, tuition is free! You don't live on campus so there are no living expenses, and everyone is super friendly and helpful. The financial aid desk helped me find grants that I didn't even know were available. The teachers are great. I have learned so much from being here. I've never had a bad teacher, they have all been willing to work with you and explain the material very clearly. If you are diligent with your studies, it's not difficult to get A's and hold a job or extracurricular activities. I’d definitely recommend getting your core classes done here, and then transferring to your dream college to get your degree.

There are plenty of extracurricular activities to do at CTC. They have a track, football team, basketball team, cheerleaders, clubs, game nights, outings... there's a wide variety of things to do that keep you busy. The campus is very clean and organized, it's hard to get lost. The students are friendly and classes are not that difficult.
Bang for the buck
I don't think I could have found a better deal for my money. Classes are under a hundred bucks a credit, books aren't expensive, there are hardly any extra fees... the application is only $15 bucks! The money I have saved here getting my core classes done has been amazing. The financial aid office has been tremendous. I had already applied for the Hope Scholarship, but the people there helped me find and receive the Pell Grant and the Hope Grant, so I go to school completely free. The people at the office are incredibly helpful and have done so much for me.
Tips for prospective students
Personally, I recommend getting all your core classes done at a community college or a smaller school, and using the money you saved to finish your degree at a really great school. Be watchful and make sure the classes you are taking will transfer to wherever you want to go, but that information is easily found on the transfer equivalency section of the college website. Chattahoochee Tech is a great place to get your core classes done. Most of them transfer, the teachers are nice and understanding, and most of them are rated pretty highly on ratemyprofessor.com
Great for these types of students
This college is great if you have plans to go to a larger or more expensive school. Apply, get your core classes done, and transfer to wherever you want to go. Spending thousands a year at your ideal school is crazy when you're still taking math, science, psychology and other classes. It's great for working adults or students with other obligations such as family, children, a job, activities or just a busy schedule. They offer classes during the day, at nights, weekends or one day a week, so it's easy to fit something into your schedule. I would definitely recommend Chattahoochee Tech.

This school is general admission and there are a lot of older students who have been out of school for several years, so the classes can be slow at times. If you need extra help, the school offers free tutors in the Success Center.

Great locations and helpful faculty.
Bang for the buck
Great for getting classes to transfer to another school. A lot of classes don't transfer, though, so check with the school you're wanting to transfer to.
Tips for prospective students
Make sure your classes transfer!
Great for these types of students
Great for untraditional students or students who are wanting to save a buck.
