    Campus Safety

Security at all entrances. All visitors must stop at reception area. All must use ID's while on Campus.

    Greek Life

Magnum Cum Laude Summa Cum Laude Cum Laude

    Clubs and Activities

Ambassadors Club: Takes the lead with school activities, newspaper, award presentation and fund raising

Great for these types of students

Online Student Status for working or single parent families with busy lifestyles. It is a cost savings because you save money on gas. It is also flexible. The only thing is that you must be disciplined and follow the classes on a regular basis. I have been studying like this for 4 years now. It is the best.

Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus

There was an opportunity for fundraising to fix the gardens when City College was at Casselberry, FL 4 years ago. It was a lot of fun. Also had an annual picnic with races and everybody brought a dish to share. Every class had a Christmas party where everyone was busy making dishes to share and a special award was given to the Administrator Mr Phillips who is now retired, These are fond memories at City College for me.

    Bang for the buck

Department chair person sometimes has fund raisers during Christmas and other holidays. They provide lunches for Student Appreciation Week; Awards Presentation Quarterly etc. Allied Health has bowling socials as an opportunity to get to know the other students away from the classroom and books.

    What to do for fun

school has clubs in different departments and also has Ambassadors Club.

    Food and Dining

Although they have a simple cafeteria, the campus is in a business district where many different fast food restaurant are within walking distance.

    Dorm Life

City College is a smaller school and doesn't have a live in student population.

    Academic Rigor

City College is a very serious education oriented school that tries to get the students to focus on career goals. The have a great support system with admission counselors. At anytime students can go and ask for help. School's logo is the 3 E's: Extraordinary, Educational Experience. Smaller classes makes it easier to receive personalized attention. Very important when subjects are hard and the need for extra coaching is needed.

    Tips for prospective students

When you first embark on a career past high school, it can be very difficult to get started only because you really don't know what you want. In that case sit down with admission counselors and ask a lot of questions about programs and schedules. Research through website educational opportunities by looking at Facebook, Twitter etc. Also the school websites have a lot of information and student's feedback. And if still unsure about what program to pick, visit the campus and seek other students how they chose their career goals.

    In three sentences

The greatest school in Central Florida that helps working students keep up with curriculum. The financial aid department actively communicate with you to make sure you understand your obligation and give support and advise to find more money options for you. The admission counselors are always there for you because they want to make sure your education experience is the best possible. City College is known for slower paced setting for those that haven't been in school and perhaps they need some time to get adjusted to school life and the curriculum.

TERRIBLE SCHOOL! Started their RN program and WOW what a complete and epic failure on their end. They lacked professors for certain classes, unable to find replacements they got any professor to teach it. I went without a teacher in a class for 1 month and got an A in it when we didn't even do anything...That might be appealing to slackers, but this is a NURSING program, we need to be well educated, prepared students! Also I filled out all the paper work for financial aid and they never submitted it or applied for it while I was there. So a few months later when trying to transfer to a real college they sent me a bill for $5,000.00! For what? there was no teachers and I didn't learn a thing nor can I afford that hence why I applied for financial aid in the 1st place. Waste of time, money and now I have this bill that is outstanding and NO one from the school will return my calls to resolve it. You would think they would want their money and work out options with me...its unbelievable!! I have to do through the department of education to resolve this matter, which doesn't surprise me. But I sincerely hope that when they launch their investigation on this crappy school that they get shut down. There should be more regulation with private institutions because they are ripping students off (while we line their pockets, non-profit my butt) and this is the perfect example on how they get away with it, they ignore you and you give up. Well I'm not giving up without a fight. Please learn from my mistake and find a better school PBSC has a great program go somewhere that is regulated.
