Originally established as a nursing school, Clarkson College has grown over the years to become a 4-year institution of health care sciences in Omaha. Clarkson offers nine academic programs and 20 majors in the health sciences. In addition to its classroom space, the campus features a simulation lab including simulated adult and infant patients that display a wide range of medical conditions. For students who wish to travel beyond Omaha, the college also sponsors an annual Academic Trip Abroad with a lecture series centered around various European destinations.
