Most Helpful Review for Clarkson University

This college is very demanding when it comes to some subjects and very laid back when it comes to others. The big 3 courses, physics, chemistry, and calculus, serve as a filter for the students. If you can't keep up and learn the material, you might want to consider a different school. The classes can also be somewhat labor intensive at times.

Clarkson has great academics and professors who are willing to go out of their way to help you understand and excel. They have countless free programs like tutoring, academic assistance, entertainment shows each weekend, etc. The weather and the buildings aren't the nicest but the academic programs and research opportunities make the college well worth it.

Clarkson University is a very challenging college where you will have to think outside the box. Although the education is tough it is comparable to common big engineering schools. The hard work will pay off because many popular employers look to hire students for internships, co-ops, and full time employment.

Clarkson is an extremely challenging university that will test you persistence, ability to think, and your willingness to work with others. The university often is difficult for small town kids but will shape you into a better student and person. The university overall is based solely on achieving a degree with little emphasis on the actual college experience you might be looking for elsewhere.

Excellent connections to future places of employment. Helps develop strong work ethics because of expected work load. As sustainable as a college in the north country can be without freezing to death.
