What Students Are Saying

If you decide on Cleveland State, prepare to get a preview of the real world. From seeing different types of cultures, to having to make my own decisions, Cleveland State has helped me to become more of an adult than when I was before I started college. Do not expect to see the same kind of attitudes in college as you saw in high school.
India from Columbus, OH
Like stated above, APPLY EARLY for scholarships and to the Honors/Scholars program. I am in the Scholars program and they have lots of counseling and advice available if needed. Just remember this, the faculty at Cleveland State University is ready to help YOU.

If any of you have questions, just e-mail/message me and I'll try to help out as best as I can. Good luck with everything!
Iddrisu from Seven Hills, OH
Don't be afraid to ask questions! When you go on your college visit, ask students who go there what their opinion is. They will give you the real details, telling you where to go for a good bite, where you can meet a lot of friends, which teachers to avoid, which teachers to aim for, where to get extra help, etc. Those personal questions are ones you need to ask to see if the college is right for you!
Alexandra from Cincinnati, OH
When you come, research the type of college you're going to enroll in, Monte Ahuja College of Business, College of Science, etc and see what opportunities await you in your field. The professors here are very good and will go the distance in providing opportunities to students who show they really want to succeed.
Sir Joshua from Cleveland, OH
Submit your application and paperwork early! Classes, rooms and plans fill up quickly!
Alicia from Grafton, OH
worth taking the time to take a campus tour. a lot of new stuff to see!
