Every class I walk out of, I feel that I have learned something new each day. Whether it be how to communicate in groups effectively to what began the civil war, I feel more knowledgeable.

    Coastal Carolina University is a medium-sized university located in a small town near Myrtle Beach, SC. The campus, while somewhat small, is stunningly beautiful. The quality of education that is offered at this institution is average.

    It's a geographically diverse college with students from all over the U.S., although most are from the East Coast. It has a large amount of international students as well. While it isn't exactly prestigious, it is continuously growing in an effort to reach more widely and make its place among the most well-known and well-planned schools in the U.S.

    Coastal Carolina University offers a plethora of majors and advancement opportunities to learn and explore their options, with beach life not to far students get an opportunity to unwind every weekend and get away from the frustration of classes. Marine Science majors will feel very special here as travel experiences during class are available and teachers really get involved.

    Coastal is full of opportunities to explore outside your comfort zone. They have a wide variety of services to accustom the students need; ranging in clubs, sports, and jobs. There's no chance of you staying in your dorms, you'll find something!

    Discovery Day made a lasting impression on me. The tour was great and I received a lot of tips for my major after the tour. The campus is simply beautiful and I look forward to attending in the fall of 2014!
