It's more expensive than other state schools, but it seems like you are getting your money's worth in terms of services and academics

Best education you can get for in-state tuition, plus the school is very generous in the financial aid area.

William and Mary is not the most expensive school for in-sate and out-of-state students, but it isn't the cheapest. For the research equipment available, class variety, and career insight and preparation, it is unequivocally a great investment. To my knowledge, many students receive some form of financial aid. Some are able to attend all on grant money. Regrettably, paying back loans may be a real concern; however, working over the summer or during the year is an option. Countless stores in the area are especially partial to William and Mary students and it is likely that any student who is looking for a job can find one if he or she feels it is necessary.
