It's a good transfer school with a lot of different programs. It's way cheaper than universities but there's not a lot of clubs and volunteer opportunities. I'd rather go to COC and transfer to a great school than spend 4 years at a lower level university.

This school is highly underrated. There are so many opportunities at this institution for individuals to succeed. College of the Canyons has proven time and time again that debt doesn't always have to be tied with a college degree.

The classes are small which makes a great teacher to student ratio. There a great programs like PAL which allows a student to two classes at once, an the great thing about it is you have the same classmates and lecturer throughout. And must not forget there a great clubs so one can never feel left out in their new environment. Most students an lecturers are friendly are ready to help and lots of great programs an education counselor to help you through your educational jorney.

College of the Canyons is honestly a great place for students to get hands-on practice for their future career aspirations. The faculty is very helpful. This is also a good school to take general education classes, since it is known as the Harvard of Santa Clarita.

College of the Canyons is a community college that gives you the opportunity to explore your career or explore other careers in case you're undecided of your major. The teachers there care about your success. It is not a community college when half way the students disappear, here at College of the Canyons we preserve.

I can not compare directly this CC to other schools, but from what I have been told, I am very lucky to have been able to get all the classes I wanted. Academics are great as long as you do your research at ratemyprofessor website. Though most people commute to school, joining a club will greatly increase the amount of friends you have and connections.
