This is a Great Community College, Some of the Best Teachers I've had is Mr. Ziessler in the Music Department, a great teacher who has given me a love for piano, and Mr. Howell for Geography, who far and way was the best class I've had so far in college. There are some inept teachers but definitely more good than bad at COS

Because no one has the option to dorm on campus, this is just like high school, but there are less cliques, hardly any parking spaces, there's students of all ages, and there's definitely more freedom. This is not the school one would think of when picturing the full college experience as seen in the movies and what not. It's not easy getting the classes you want, and even the waitlists get filled up pretty quick too.

College of the Sequoias is an excellent starting point for anyone college bound. The campus is well-kept, and clean. The staff is, for the most part, very interested in what they teach and eager to instruct students.

Awesome way to get GED out of the way. They have great teachers that will help you with your questions. Its in a convenient place in town were you can walk and get food. Great campus and offer many workshops so you can transfer.

College of the Sequoias is a very friendly school. On the other hand, I feel some teachers have a lack of responsibility.

This is my fist semester ever attending college, since graduating high school. College of the Sequoias is really easy to enroll in and they have an awsome new facillity for anything related agriculture only. I really enjoy attending classes there, and i learn something every time class meets.

Most of the instructors are very helpful and entertaining. The campus is very nice full of trees. However the wireless internet connection on campus is terrible and spotty on a good day.

COS is a good school. It's not somewhere to finish, but it's definitely somewhere to start. I have enjoyed it.

Although many entering/continuing college students dream about four year universities, College of the Sequoias is a wonderful community college that offers nearly every single course for transfer students in about all fields of majors. I am so glad I chose the cheaper way to go to obtain my general ed. The staff is very willing to answer any questions, and the teachers truly care about their students, wanting them to push forward for success.
