Pueblo City Park is one of the best places to go in town. From things like disc golf, to the quarter rides, you can't go wrong spending a hot summer day at the local park. If you want to cool down, an evening walk at the River Walk downtown is also great! Pueblo is home to many trails and rivers to fish or surf (yes I said surf!) River surfing is popular at the Arkansas river in town. There is a Kayak course build into it, however, it can be used to surf as well. Historical downtown Pueblo is full of history. The Pueblo Arts Center and History Museum are just a few places where this history can be found, both in downtown Pueblo. Just up the road a ways, San Isabel can be found in the mountains where there is a beautiful lake and many trails to hike in the summer, or hills to sled in the winter.

There is always something planned for students, the dorms host movie nights and pajama parties in the lounges on weekends. Student Activities hosts concerts, dances, and dinners. There are a ton of campus clubs that host mixes, studies, meet and greets and so much more.

I like to ride my bike and fish at the Pueblo Reservoir in the summer/spring, and go skiing in the winter. There are plenty of places for outdoor activities.

They have so much to do especially for the first week. They had little things going on around campus for the weekend before school started. There was an involvement fair, a paint splattering war, splash day is coming up, and a speaker: David Garabaldi. (sp?) There was more too. Also they have a Rec Center that has a whole bunch of free fitness classes, and a swimming pool.

The Office of Student Activities on campus brings a lot of great people to campus for the students benefit and entertainment such as comedians, motivational speakers, and the annual student concert. As far as off campus is concerned, the zoo, the river walk, nature and raptor center, and reservoir are great places to go for fun!
