On Aug. 22, 2017 when I visited the Columbia International University and participated in a campus tour, I had lunch with one of the Professors in the Student Dining Hall. The facility was clean, there was an eye-appealing variety of food and it all tasted good.

I give this four stars because compared to other schools, the caf food is good. There are way more options than other schools provide, and salad bar every day. They're not so great about special dietary menus though.

The food and dining at CIU can easily be identified to promote a sense of unity and community. There is always different types of food each day that appeal to the diversity that we have at CIU. The dining room has big, medium, and small table to accommodate any size group eating together.

Well, I actually work in the cafeteria right now. It's a small school, so there are not that many options honestly, but the food is decent. There is a salad bar which is pretty good, as is the sandwich line, and ice cream station. I honestly wish there was more fruit, but I can't really complain.

Some people complain about the food, but I think they do a good job. There is a grill line and sub line in addition to the main lines, and the food has improved significantly even since I've been here.
