some of the staff and faculty are helpful others are not and go out of their way to be unhelpful. even with new administration there is lots of room for improvement;they've had a few years to get on it.

While most everyone is nice, it's not the most organized place to be. It doesn't seem anyone really cares about you really, just wants to grade you and be done. It could be a great place to be, it is just stuck in the mindset that it is strictly for profit, not for it students.

Sometimes fairly disorganized, Cox College is still one of the best nursing schools in Springfield. Given the alternatives--St. John's--which requires divinity classes, MSU--which requires you to have no life, and various ASN programs, I'm pleased with the choice. Allowing for more feedback from students and more interaction with other colleges would do a lot of good to modernize its dusty halls and wake this college up from its dusty shell of what could be great.
