    Plan accordingly. Attending the best Culinary school in the country is expensive. Make sure you have 6 months of industry training.

    Talk to those currently attending. It is a wonderful experience, but it isn't like a regular college. It is rigorous and they are preparing you for this field in the most realistic way.

    Make friends with someone from an earlier start date; there are lots of things orentation doesn't tell you, like how to get around Roth, where the bathrooms are, where the mail room is, and all the secret shortcut doors so you don't have to always use the main entrance.
