Tuition, Cost & Aid

Affordability and Cost

Average Net Price Average net price for full-time, first-time degree/certificate-seeking undergraduates paying the in-state or in-district tuition rate who were awarded grant or scholarship aid from federal, state or local governments, or the institution. Other sources of grant aid are excluded. Aid awarded anytime during the full aid year is included.

Average net price is generated by subtracting the average amount of federal, state or local government, or institutional grant and scholarship aid from the total cost of attendance. Total cost of attendance is the sum of published tuition and required fees (lower of in-district or in-state), books and supplies and the weighted average room and board and other expenses.

What Students Are Saying

I think Daytona State is right along with other state colleges.
Donna from Deltona, FL
Yes, worth every penny!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
nisha from South Daytona, FL
I will use every bit of money I can wisely. Even though some of there things are expensive, I will do my best to get what I need for my classes.
Jennifer from Holly Hill, FL
Daytona State College (DSC) was more recently made into a state college, as it was known as Daytona Beach Community College prior to DSC. You get the same education, and the same degree from this school as you would from any other, and you pay a lot less!
Tiffany from Holly Hill, FL
For me, this is a yes. I'm learning all that I need to fairly cheaply. It's worth the cost.
Sylvia from Daytona Beach, FL
The financial costs of attending classes here at Daytona State College are very inexpensive. This is one of top reasons I enjoy this school so much. It put myself and my family at great ease knowing that I'm paying so little as compared to other schools (such as a private college or university).
Jessica from Deltona, FL
The cost of school is not bad compared to other schools, and I feel like I am getting the education I deserve.
Jordan from Deland, FL
For most students college can be a scary thought but here at Daytona state college all faculty are willing to help you in any way needed.
Nikki from New Smyrna Beach, FL
Dual Enrollment was 100% free since I was a high school student getting college credits. It was wonderful getting a higher education due to being a academically smart and sound student.
