What Students Are Saying

this university has approximately a 12:1 faculty to student ratio. if you find your courses challenging, there are many resources to help you on campus, you just have to be willing to access and use them. some say college work is less rigorous than work assigned in high school, you just have to learn to manage time, social skills, and your priorities.
you must have a desire to obtain your degree and excel at any majors you choose. the professor there help you along the way and encourage you to do well. if you find yourself falling behind, take advantage of the tutoring service on campus.
Shepherd from New Castle, DE
It all depends on who you have. I can only speak for myself. I think the classes where okay, not the greatest.
Quintera from Newark, DE
Fall semester I earned a 3.53 GPA and Spring Semester a 3.8. The academics at DSU can be difficult if you are not focused. If you stay on top of your school work you will do fine.
