DelTech is by far the cheapest community college with loads of credibility with other schools and industries in Delaware. It also has a lot of services to help students but some of those services (math lab) could be better. I find my self more lost in the math lab than in the actual math class, and most of the time the math "tutors", don't know how to help you or the help they give you isn't very helpful. It sucks it's a service you have to pay for. However, I do like the writing center and find the advice and support they give is really helpful. I just wish it stayed open as much as the math-lab and would love if Deltech let you pick the services you wish to pay for. Also, dealing with financial aid makes the college process a pain. I got told so many contradictory info based on a program the had but abruptly ended, which cost me a lot of money and stress. I overall love DelTech but it has some areas to improve on

Do not waste your time and speak with an advisor to schedule classes to get you started. Work hard and start what you finish! Participate in extracurricular activities and really try to benefit from your instructors.

Top 10 for me to you: 1. Have a positive attitude towards classes. 2. Read your hand book its important. 3. Meet your teaches before classes start. 4. find your class before classes start. 5. Read your syllabus all of them. 6. Make sure that all payments are in on time and paperwork is up to date. 7. Do not OPEN your BOOKS until you go into class unless already told otherwise before hand. 8. Use all of the resource, math lab, writing center, computer lab, library, free gym clubs of all kinds, events. 9. GO to the welcome students event first week. 10. GET INVOLVED AS MUCH AS YOU CAN!
