Founded in 1890 by the Dominican Sisters of San Rafael, the Dominican University of California is one of the oldest institutions of higher education in the state. The private university is located at the base of San Pedro Mountain and operates a satellite campus in Mendocino County, CA. The school is home to an Ansel Adams photography collection, enameled terracotta sculptures created by the Della Robbia family, and the Forest Meadows Amphitheater. Admissions are “selective.”
At Dominican University you're a family. Although the school is small you will meet tons of new people and make great friends. You will make your own family there and have the chance to create some great memories and experience countless new things.
