Drake is an outstanding university and a great place to achieve your degree, however the tuition is constantly increasing because of the few students who attend Drake since it is a private university.

Drake is expensive, but so are most other private colleges. I am no expert on the matter, but Drake has been awarded multiple awards from independent reviewers - some of which include being the best value in the Midwest. The great thing about Des Moines is that the cost of living as well as entertainment is fairly low.
