I lived on College Hill for most of my time at ECU and one of my favorite things to do for fun was utilize the volleyball court. It is basically like you are going to the beach, but its just about 200 feet away from your dorm! There is also a basketball court right beside the volleyball court. There are also multiple giant open spaces for you and your friends to do whatever it is your hearts desire like yoga, playing Frisbee or even just laying down to enjoy the sun. The basement of Mendenhall also has some activities for ECU students like bowling, ping pong, arcade games and even pool. Talking about playing pool, there is also a swimming pool that is open most of the day at the Recreational Center.

There's an adventure center that hosts events such as Kayaking, Ziplining, Hiking, etc! There's a great gym facility with a rock wall! There are clubs off campus and ECU can show you how to party.

I am involved in the Wellness Living Learning Community, so we live on the same hall, take a few classes together, and hang out together. I am also involved in two clubs, Alpha Epsilon Delta, a pre-health honors society, and Healthy Pirates. I do volunteering and other activities through them. I also plan to join intramural soccer this season. This semester group fitness classes are free, so I enjoy doing yoga every now and then.

There are a lot of activities on campus. We have a movie theater on campus in the student center as well as an arcade and bowling area. In General, there seems to be concerts going on every week or so, a lot of club activities happen and are open to everyone.

Shopping, out to eat, bowling, laser tag, the beach is about a hour away. To get to a bigger city like Raleigh and Durham is only about 1 hr and 30 so people go there to shop and stuff. We have bars and clubs downtown.
