The teachers are approachable and are willing to spend as much time to assure each individual student success. The class size my freshman year was under 30 students, so each student gets a personalized learning experience!

Everybody is extremely friendly there, especially the staff. Thanks to the support from my instructors, my grades this past year have been the best since elementary school! It's also a great school to attend because it's small enough to not be overwhelmed with a lot of people yet big enough to meet a new person everyday!

I've seen but never attended any other universities besides Eastern. It's a small-town school with a small-town feel and I've learned that environment is a crucial element to consider when picking a university. The culture-area you choose to attend college in really affects your learning inside and outside of the classroom. At least this statement has held true for my experience at Eastern. In my next-to-last year in the anthropology program, I am confident in relaying that Eastern is teaching me what I need to know to practice successful archaeology, with its own local twist.
