Edison is a community college. I don't know how other community colleges are, but the first two years are basically a review of what you learned in high school. I'm not learning anything I didn't already know.

FSW has a very good dual enrollment program. I enjoy getting to take the online classes they offer. I wouldn't mind finishing a degree here.

There are plenty of inspirational colleges to attend here in florida, but the opportunitys that Florida southwestern state college gave me was incredibly appreciated. The professors held such a deep passion for educating, they truly cared wether or not each student wanted to learn. Florida Southwestern State College is one of the better community colleges in the area. They are 100% affordable and they have wonderful teaching and medical degree programs. The focus with teachers at Florida SouthWestern State College has been better than it has been worse in my experience there.

Edison (now FSW) is a really awesome school! I was an early admissions student from the high school on campus and I loved it! It's a great place for a nursing, education, or law degree, but if you want to pursue something else, I recommend coming here for your general degree (AA) then transferring (much cheaper doing that, too!).

The campus is small, but you could get around it without getting lost or late to class. It is a great environment. The faulty are very helpful and are willing to help in whatever you need help with.

You go there because it is cheaper than other local colleges. You go for your AA and transfer to another college. It is good academic-wise and professor -wise.

Edison is a friendly environment with a diverse group of people. While attending I felt welcomed by both the student and staff population. It is a really good place to start if you've struggled with understanding material in high school because of all the resources offered to help you succeed.
