    El Centro College is located in the heart of Downtown Dallas and is accessible by nearly every bus line as the West Transfer Center is nearby. There are tedious and grueling waiting lines when you apply or register at the last minute, but those are expected at any institution. Get to know an advisor or professor during their office hours as they will be great help for acquiring letters of recommendation for transfer scholarships.

    Make sure you know what you want in terms of the degree or major. Always ask questions, don't ever assume. Go to the appropriate source to find answers to your issues or problems. When visiting an Academic Advisor, PLEASE! make sure they understand what you want, or else you'll be placed in a class you don't really need for your major.
