It is a great place to start. The educators are very knowledgable and I feel that I have gotten a lot out of the classes I have taken thus far.

I took dual-credit classes in my senior year of high school and I got to say it was a great taste of what real college student life is like. The courses were complicated because of the level of difficulty of tests, yet they were really easy if I tried my best studying for them. I passed them with two A's and one B and the great thing of it was that they were free.

This college is a great, friendly, and student oriented environment. The faculty and staff members are usually well informed and up to date on policies and any other helpful information for the current/prospective students of epcc. It is a great choice as a first college because it is affordable, and the way the teachers and students can communicate is efficient and allows more chance of success.

This school really is the best place to start, some teachers are really laid back and know what they teach, and some majors are so small that the teacher is super flexible.

I personally think EPCC is great, it's a much smarter decision to go to a community college first. The class sizes are smaller allowing for a much better learning environment and the professors are really good at what they do. You end up spending less money for your first two years of college which is a great plus.

El Paso community is kind of a boarding school atmosphere. Students go to class, get their education and then go back home. It's a good place to start especially if you have a job or kids.
