As an Aerospace Engineering student I have found that learning at Embry-Riddle is based on your ability to teach yourself. Some professors are less willing to help than others, and often you must ask the right questions to get what you need. You really need to sit down and review every day in order to learn and retain what the professors teach.

Embry-Riddle is a very diverse school, but you'll never find someone you won't connect with on some level. Everyone who goes here has the same interests.

Strong Academics with many great teachers. The school has so many opportunities and the people there are great. Many professors will bend over backwards for their students so that they can achieve more if they are willing to get help.

Embry-Riddle is no joke. If you want a good engineering degree this is your place, but you can't mess around here. You need to be dedicated and get you time management down in the first year and you will have no problem.

ERAU-Daytona is a great school for those who are sure of their career path. The student body does a wonderful job of having affordable and enjoyable activities on campus. College life at this school is mostly full of classes and homework/projects, but there is a healthy mix of activities and free time to keep the students out of trouble and on the right path towards a degree.

As a past engineering student here I believe the school is overrated and too expensive to justify. Adding to overrated academics, the lack of gender diversity is terrible, the lack of football makes weekends boring, and overall there isn't a sense of school spirit on campus. Unless you are socially awkward, rich, and hate sports I would not recommend this school.

ERAU is a great school with great educational programs, so it is worth the high price tag. You will meet very good people compared to the average population. If you are an engineer, pilots will be your worst enemy and vice versa.

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University-Daytona Beach has a beautiful campus that is really worth looking into if that is what you are about. The programs offered at this institute for advanced learning are high paying degrees that are in high demand now and will continue growing in need in the work force. Class sizes are small and there is a lot of One-on-One time with professors.
