be yourself and show the true you in any interview or audition. do not stress about trying to be the "perfect fit" or what you think the college wants. emerson is all about individuality and curiosity-- two qualities that any prospective student who truly cares about the college admission process already has. don't sweat the small stuff, and trust that you are enough. since coming to emerson, i have never met a community of people so shamelessly themselves, so bring that to the table and you will be welcomed with open arms into this community!

Be you, artsy, passionate you. Emerson looks for originality as well as your character, so be honest in your application, and remember, this school isn't for everybody. If you decide to come here, you have to know what you want to do: Emerson is very limited in terms of majors, so if you're interested in, say, Journalism and Bioengineering, you're going to need to look at a more comprehensive university.
