Established in 1965, the School of Plastic Arts and Design of Puerto Rico is a public, 4-year institution located in San Juan. The college offers a bachelor’s degree program in Plastic Arts, with concentrations available in Graphic Arts, Industrial Design, Fashion Design, Design and Digital Art, Art Education, Sculpture, and Painting. Students enrolled in the Plastic Arts programs take part in workshops, general and concentration-oriented courses, and electives in both instructed and independent formats. The college’s campus features the Student Life Quality Center, which provides access to student group development assistance, group training, special workshops, and counseling.
