Go in with a sense of direction, talk to a counselor (they are usually extremely helpful in creating a 2 year plan.) Stay focused on your goals, attend classes, do the homework and you will pass. If you need help with homework - sign up for tutoring in the library or student center. If would like to connect with peers or become involved in student life, the best way to do that is to join a club. There are also advertisements for activities and other things. Evergreen is a good school, but like anywhere else, it's also what you make of it.

Register for your classes as soon as your able to because they do fill up very fast. Don't listen to things you read on ratemyprofessor.com because most people go on there to post only negatives. Gain a good rapport with a counselor and continue seeing him/her throughout your time at Evergreen.
