I am truly enjoying the experience of this HBCU. The connections are great. I am currently enrolled in the 5 year business program which is listed as the top business program in the country. I am employed with the US Attorneys Office here in Tallahassee. It like all other colleges has it down falls, with loss of information etc. but for the most part it is a good experience.

Florida Agriculture and Mechanical University is thee most prestige and outstanding HBCU in the land. Everyone cannot handle the Rattler lifestyle, so if you aren't up for the cause you may not make it. At FAMU you will experience a life outside from what you are use to, do not think that because you are a student from a HBCU you do not have the same level of knowledge compared to those of PWIs.

There are a lot of teachers here that demonstrates a general concern for their students. Before coming to FAMU I was doubtful and it was not my first choice. However here at FAMU everyone is FAMU-ly there are so many educational opportunities along with fun involved activities that could help freshman build strong resumes. :)

Florida A&M is a wondeful university. Honestly, it isn't for everyone. The school teaches you a lot about life and preps you for adulthood, your future career, and if you have what it takes, grad school.

I am currently a returning student at FAMU and I love everything from the student life to the professors at this institute. During my time here I have learned so much about myself and others through my required courses and campus life. If I had to do it all over, I would choose FAMU again.

Out of 10 I would give FAMU a solid 7. While it has its quirks such as the people and programs it is an amazing school. The only thing I have a trial with is the function of their financial aid office.

Florida A&M is overall just an okay school. You have to do work to get by but without any extracurricular activities it would seem as a dull school. Its not all that bad but it Isn't all that great either.

Florida A&M is a great university. It opens you up to a world of opportunists while you are attending, and even after you graduate. I recommend this school to all students not just African Americans.

If you're looking for a tight-knit community based on community and fun, Florida A&M is the school for you! Although predominately black, the students and faculty here are diverse in spirit and charismatic; genuine and open-minded to everyone. If you value smaller classrooms for an intimate learning setting and professors that push you to the limit who want to see you grow, this is the place to be,
